The Year of Fire & Folklore: A Behind-the-Scenes Look at the Grimm Pyrography Project

Every big creative project has a heartbeat, and this one beats like a drum in the dark woods.

When I started planning the Grimm Pyrography Series, I knew I didn’t want it to be cute or safe. I wanted it to be immersive. Symbolic. A little unsettling in the best possible way. A year-long pilgrimage through folklore where each piece teaches a new technique and unearths a new part of you.

Behind the scenes, I’m sketching characters, gathering textures, building patterns, testing compositions, and researching the original, unfiltered tales. And let me tell you, the symbolism is WILD. These stories were basically proto-therapy with better metaphors.

What’s inside:

  • 12 Hero Projects → Larger works (plaques, panels, boxes) rooted in fairy tales
  • 12 Small Projects → Quick burns (ornaments, bookmarks, jewelry) for practice & gifts
  • Weekly Spark Prompts → Symbolic exercises to keep your fire alive
  • Facebook Group → Share your burns, connect with fellow makers
  • Lifetime Access → Work at your own pace, revisit anytime
  • Downloadable Content → Patterns and notes, yours to keep forever

This series isn’t about perfect burns. It’s about exploration. Interpretation. And giving yourself permission to follow the story wherever the fire takes you.

If you crave art with soul, depth, and a little shadow, you’ll want to be part of this journey.
